YouTube AdSense Revenue Estimator Guide

This tool estimates AdSense revenue based on your channel's monthly views and subscribers. You can enter your stats manually (always works), or use the Auto-Fetch feature to pull public data via Invidious API. The tool applies industry-average RPM (Revenue Per Mille) rates by niche. RPM varies significantly based on niche, audience location, video length, ad formats, seasonality, and viewer engagement. All calculations are estimates only.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: How accurate is the revenue estimate?
A: This tool provides a rough estimate based on public view data and industry-average RPM rates. Actual earnings depend on many factors including ad rates, viewer demographics, ad blockers, video length, seasonality, and YouTube's revenue share (typically 55% for the creator, 45% for YouTube).
Q: What is RPM?
A: RPM (Revenue Per Mille / 1,000 views) is the total revenue a creator earns per 1,000 video views, including YouTube's share. CPM (Cost Per Mille) is what advertisers pay. As a rule of thumb, RPM ≈ CPM × 0.68 (YouTube's revenue share varies by country and content).
Q: Which RPM is right for my channel?
A: Finance/Business channels typically earn the highest RPM ($8-15), followed by Tech ($5-8) and Education ($4-7). Entertainment, Gaming, and Music channels earn lower RPM ($1-3) due to younger audiences and shorter watch times.
Q: Does this tool store any data?
A: No. This is a 100% client-side tool. All data is fetched from the Invidious API directly in your browser. We do not store, track, or transmit any channel data to any server.
Q: The Auto-Fetch says "Invidious unavailable". What now?
A: Invidious public instances have been shutting down. Simply enter your channel's stats manually — Channel Name, Monthly Views, and Subscribers. The revenue calculation works the same way and is often more accurate since you know your actual numbers.
Q: Why do you use Invidious instead of the YouTube API?
A: The official YouTube API requires an API key and server-side proxy to avoid exposing the key. Invidious was an open-source YouTube frontend that provided a CORS-enabled JSON API. Since most public instances have shut down, we recommend using manual input for reliability.
