A QR Code (Quick Response Code) is a two-dimensional matrix barcode containing black squares arranged in a grid on a white background. It stores numeric, alphanumeric, byte/binary, or Kanji characters. Using error correction algorithms, devices can easily scan and decode QR codes even if the physical print is slightly damaged or blurred.

Using client-side generators prevents private data from being sent over the web to generate barcodes. This is highly useful for creating QR codes of personal WiFi passwords, coordinate locations, contact cards, or sensitive website URLs securely.
