The DNS check queries public DNS records. If no records are found, the domain is likely (but not guaranteed) available. Always confirm with a domain registrar.

Q: How does the availability check work?

A: The tool uses DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH) via dns.google. It queries ANY records for the domain. If DNS returns results, the domain is likely registered. If no results, it's likely available. This is a best-effort check and may not catch all registered domains.

Q: Why does it show "Unknown" for some domains?

A: "Unknown" means the DNS query failed, typically due to CORS restrictions, network issues, or the DNS resolver being unreachable. This is more common with newer or less common TLDs.

Q: Can I check any TLD?

A: The tool supports .com, .net, .org, .io, .co, .app, .dev, .ai, .me, and .info. You can manually edit the URL for other TLDs, but the DNS check may not work reliably for all TLDs.
